What We Love About Qlik? Real-Time Interactivity – Powered by Dataplus

In our latest YouTube video, we decided to flip the script. Instead of talking about what frustrates us as Qlik developers (looking at you, QMC and Excel exports), we asked ourselves: What do we actually love about Qlik?

The answer was clear: Real-Time Interactivity. And real-time responsiveness.

With Qlik, you get exactly the data you need – quickly, intuitively, and with just a few clicks. But it gets even better when you add Data+ to the mix. That’s when Qlik becomes not only a powerful analytics platform, but also a tool for action.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

• Reassign responsibilities in seconds

• Edit dates, names, or statuses instantly

Using Data+ Table, Forms, and Timeline on a single sheet, we created a fully interactive planning dashboard. All elements are synced and connected – so when you change something in one element, all others update automatically.

In the video example: A task gets reassigned to a colleague. It appears instantly in the timeline view. Or a date gets moved? Just drag, drop, and save – and you're done. All actions happen right in the frontend, within Qlik.
